Diva challenge #270

Laura is asking us to create a tile with the new tangle Skye by Margaret Bremner. It's a gorgeous pattern and I've played with it almost two weeks ago for another challenge (click here to see my other Skye tile).

Apparently, I love to add some black in a tile that contains Skye. Today I let Flux play along as well ;-)

Thank you for visiting my blog! Your comments are always much appreciated.

String 172

A nice string to fill with tangles! I used Dugwud, Eye-Wa, Keeko, Gottago and Kiss.

Playing with Croissant

Croissant is a pattern I didn't use before, but I love it! I put some Paradox and Fescu around it:

Square One: Bales

I hadn't participated in the challenge of Facebook group Square One for a long time, but I've re-discovered it :-) So, here's my Bales Monotangle:

Alphabet challenge #58

Another weekly challenge by Diane & Carolien! This time we're using G, L and J and I chose to use Germie, Linq and Jessicup.

It's a String Thing #146

We use a fluffy string inspired by clouds in the sky for Adele's challenge. We're to fill it with Cant, Cayke and Cubine, and this is my result:

Diva challenge #269

At her blog, Laura mentioned already how much fun it is to see the new official pattern Ellish grow in front of your eyes. It is! I love this new tangle, and for this challenge I added some Crescent Moon.

Thanks for visiting my blog! Your comments brighten up my day :-)

Joey's challenge #114

Joey challenges us to fill her Roman Numeral XIV string. She recommands to use 6, I didn't use Cadent though. I did use Papyrus, Cheesecloth, Barber Pole (all new to me), Shattuck and Bunzo.

The tile has a bit less contrast than I would normally plan, but I like it this way as well.

I wonder up to which number we will go with these Roman Numerals :-)

Monday 23 May 2016

Alphabet challenge #57

We're tangling with F, O and #, and I chose Feba, Onamato and 100. Take a look at Diane & Carolien's blog to see what other people did :-)

Playing with string #210

I like to look at the new strings at TanglePatterns.com from time to time. The newest string at this moment is #210 (!). I filled it with Paradox, Crescent Moon, CanT and Camelia.

It's a String Thing #145

One if my favorite places in Scotland is the Isle of Skye. It's so beautiful! Luckily, the new tangle Skye is, in it's own way, just as pretty :-)

So, I was very pleased when I saw Adele challenged us to use it in a tile, together with Antidots. This was a great journey :-)

Circles tangled

Today, I fancied to make some circles and fill them with tangles. You can see Daggerly, Dekore, 'Dillo, Drupe and Hamail.

Joey's challenge #113

Roman Numeral XIII wants to be filled by 5 patterns, of which I chose 4 to use: Ipso, Verdigogh, Chemystery and Cruffle.

Thank you Joey, for another great challenge! :-)

Diva challenge #268

This week's challenge at the I am the Diva blog is to 'add a bit of black'. A bit more than we usually do, to add a bit more drama. I'm never scared to use black, so I thought I could use even a bit more ;-)

I've used Rain as some sort of (black!) string and filled the tile with Puf and Pufcookie. Two patterns I don't use very often, but seemed to suit my tile.

Thank you for stopping by, your comments are much appreciated!

Sunday 15 May 2016

Nice duo

Two patterns I love but don't tangle often: Bellaposa and Circfleur. They're a nice duo ;-)

Friday 13 May 2016

Alphabet challenge #56: V-E-Y

Diane and Carolien challenge us to use patterns starting with V, E and Y. The tangles I used are Villers #2, Eyehook and Yew-Dee.

Thursday 12 May 2016

It's a String Thing #144

We're using Hollyhock for Adele's challenge. A pattern that didn't really sprak to me when I first saw it, but now I 'had' to try it. I liked it better than I thought, so thank you Adele for making me try it.

I put it on a Tipple bed and used 4Mom on the tile as well, since it was also in the challenge ;-)

Wednesday 11 May 2016

Oke'sbridge

I wanted to draw Oke and apparently yesterday's Knightsbridge Monotangle was still in my fingers: I couldn't think of any other background pattern to use ;-)

Tuesday 10 May 2016

Joey's challenge #112

We've arrived at the Roman Numeral XII string by Joey. We're to make a monotangle of it, using Knightsbridge. I like! :-)

Monday 9 May 2016

Diva challenge #267

Laura likes us to make a DuoTangle with Poke Root vs Drupe. I tried to combine these two tangles, which resulted in this tile. Not sure if this is what I had in mind, but it looks OK to me :-)

Sunday 8 May 2016

Mak-rah-mee as a string

I love to use a tangle as a string and today Mak-rah-mee was the lucky one ;-)
I filled it with Ixorus and put some Zinger to it.

Saturday 7 May 2016

Alphabet challenge #55: M-Q-G

M, Q and G are the letters for this week's challenge of Diane and Carolien. I wanted to use more than three tangles, so I've drawn two patterns for each letter: Maelstrom & Miasma, Quiltz & Quandary and Germie & Gingham.

Friday 6 May 2016

It's a String Thing #143

The string we use in this challenge by Adele is inspired by the front door of the Art House, where this week the Tickled To Tangle Art Show opened. I hope it will be a great Art Show!

We are to fill this string with Sand Swirl, Swarm, N'Zeppel and Tipple and this is my result:

Thursday 5 May 2016

Tour - Spokes crossroad

Two roads, Tour and Spokes, cross and get accompanied by Flux :-)

Tuesday 3 May 2016

Joey's challenge #111

Roman Numeral XI! Joey keeps us busy with those nice challenges :-)

This week we're filling the string with Zippa, Susa, Shobs and Vache1. All new tangles to me!

Monday 2 May 2016

Diva Challenge #266

It's Use My Tangle Monday at the Diva's challenge and we're using Crux. A pattern I really love to draw, and this time I wanted to do it a bit differently. So... this is the result, with a more flexible grid. Some sort of unidentified flying object ;-)

Thanks for stopping by! Comments are always read and much appreciated :-)

Sunday 1 May 2016

Playing with Xpetal

Today I wanted to play with the pattern Xpetal (the big white 'flower' bottom left). It needed some organic patterns next to it: Shattuck, Punzel and Nebel.
